Introduction to Wheel Throwing – Carla O’Brien (no experience necessary)

Wheel Throwing and Glaze selection/application for beginners with Carla O’Brien, owner of Sarasota Clay Company. Carla’s class is very in depth – she teaches all the techniques needed to start creating your own ceramic treasures on the potter’s wheel.

Wednesdays 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (year-round class)

Important Class Information

All classes include 4 sessions, each of which are 3 hours, for a total cost of $245.00. The class fee also includes instruction for wheel throwing, hand building and kiln firings. An additional student lab fee of $52.00 plus tax covers 25 lbs. of clay as well as access to all studio glazes. We have a 72-hour cancellation policy (details provided at the bottom of our Classes and Supplies page).
