Peacock Glaze Workshop with Brush on Glazes Cone 5/6 with Liz Hirschey Thursday, February 26th, 2026 1pm-3pm "Peacock" glaze technique is the application of dots of various colors combined with flux to create a flowing pattern similar to peacock feathers. To achieve this look you will need a vertical surface. Bring 2 bisque fired white clay bowls or vases that have sufficient height to allow the glazes to move. Please bring a fan brush and a fine tip applicator bottle. If you don’t have one, they are available for purchase at the studio. A select number of Amaco and Mayco glazes will be provided. What to bring: -2 Bisque fired white clay bowls or vases to glaze. -Fine tip applicator bottle -Fan brush -Water -Snacks! -No expectations and a good attitude ready for fun!

CANCELLATIONS Students must cancel at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment or class to avoid a cancellation fee of 100% for the service cost. If you have an emergency and cannot make it to class, please give us a call at (941) 359-2773. In the rare event the studio has to close unexpectedly, make-up dates will be provided. FEES Prices listed include a 3% convenience fee on the order total and applicable sales tax on clay and supplies. *Prices, rates and fees are subject to change COLLECTING YOUR WORK Your finished pieces will be ready to pick up 2 weeks from your appointment date. Please call ahead of time to make sure your work is ready. Pieces left for more than 30 days will become property of Sarasota Clay Company. LIABILITY Sarasota Clay Company and its employees are not liable or responsible for any accidental injury to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions. PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO Sarasota Clay Company reserves the right to take photographs and video recordings during classes, which may include students and their work. These images and videos may be used for promotional purposes in any media, in perpetuity, without compensation to students. FINISHED WORK Every effort is made to support students in producing well-made pieces.
