Service Description
Tired of the same old Friday night routine? Switch up your weekly routine with a date at the pottery studio! Add some variety to your schedule with our Friday Date Nights (6:00pm-7:30pm est.)! Perfect for couples, first dates, or friend dates; join other fun and interesting members of your community in a ceramic social hour where you will have the opportunity to make your very own pieces of ceramic art. This handbuilding class includes TWO visits. Your first visit you will make. Pieces will then be bisque fired and ready to glaze one week after your appointment date. Come back the following Saturday from between 10am-1pm to glaze your piece. Your piece will be fired a final time. You can pick up your completed masterpiece the following week. Properly glazed pieces are food safe and can be used and enjoyed for a lifetime. Upcoming Projects: 🗓Friday, March 13th - Charcuterie Boards Pieces will be held for 30 days, after 30 days they will become property of Sarasota Clay Company. (To Schedule, click "Book Now" then click "Check Next Available" ) What to bring: -Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty (clay is fun and messy- you will get clay on you!) -Light snacks and beverages* -Long hair pulled back for safety -No expectations! Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATIONS Students must cancel at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment or class to avoid a cancellation fee of 100% for the service cost. If you have an emergency and cannot make it to class, please give us a call at (941) 359-2773. In the rare event the studio has to close unexpectedly, make-up dates will be provided. There is a minimum of 4 people for a date night to run, with a maximum of 8. In the event a date night does not reach the minimum 24 hours prior to the class, clients will be fully refunded or contacted to reschedule for another date. FEES Prices listed include a 3% convenience fee on the order total and applicable sales tax on clay and supplies. *Prices, rates and fees are subject to change COLLECTING YOUR WORK Your finished pieces will be ready to pick up 2 weeks from your appointment date. Please call ahead of time to make sure your work is ready. Pieces left for more than 30 days will become property of Sarasota Clay Company. LIABILITY Sarasota Clay Company and its employees are not liable or responsible for any accidental injury to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions. PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO Sarasota Clay Company reserves the right to take photographs and video recordings during classes, which may include students and their work. These images and videos may be used for promotional purposes in any media, in perpetuity, without compensation to students. FINISHED WORK Every effort is made to support students in producing well-made pieces.
