Service Description
Looking for a group activity with friends, family, home schooled students – or a team-building event with your workmates? You NEED to try a “Clay Date”! For a Wheel Throwing Clay Date you must have a minimum of 6 people Ages 13+ and the cost is $70 per hour per person – maximum number for this type of Clay Date is 8 people. Minimum TWO hour event (1 hour to make, 1 hour to glaze/paint). What to bring/wear: -Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty (clay is messy!) -Apron/towel -Hair tied back for safety -No expectations and a good attitude ready for fun!
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 6 people for Wheel Throwing , or 8 for Handbuilding is required for a Clay Date. A 50% non-refundable deposit will secure your spot, and will be applied to your total at checkout. Please provide one person from the group for us to contact when the pieces are ready FOR pick-up. FEES Prices listed include a 3% convenience fee on the order total and applicable sales tax on clay and supplies. *Prices, rates and fees are subject to change COLLECTING YOUR WORK Please allow 2-4 weeks for your pieces to be finished. Please call ahead of time to make sure your work is ready. Pieces left for more than 30 days will become property of Sarasota Clay Company. LIABILITY Sarasota Clay Company and its employees are not liable or responsible for any accidental injury to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions. PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO Sarasota Clay Company reserves the right to take photographs and video recordings during classes, which may include students and their work. These images and videos may be used for promotional purposes in any media, in perpetuity, without compensation to students. FINISHED WORK Every effort is made to support students in producing well-made pieces.
